My first exposure to the outstanding Texan bassist, who looks and plays like a young Charles Mingus, was with Tina Marsh and the Creative Opportunity Orchestra. Though he was consumed within a 12 piece orchestra of extraordinary players, Edwin Livingston was a standout. I bought this self produced disc and was amazed at the high quality of music it contains. Check this out! You won't be disappointed.
