IMPROVED FOR 2012!  A SLIGHTLY SLIMMER DESIGN FOR BETTER HANDLING AND STORAGE!

Each package contains 100 CD Sleeves for $15.00. All orders of 1000 or more sleeves will be discounted 5%. Please note that up to 1000 sleeves will fit into a U.S. Postal Priority Flat-Rate Medium Box so the shipping is the same for 500-1000 sleeves.  Please do not select this shipping method for more than 1000 sleeves.

Shipping Note:  200 sleeves can fit in a flat rate envelope so we offer the following 200 sleeve bundles that include shipping (better for U.S customers wanting only 200 and international customers wanting up to 600):

If you're running out of space for your CD collection, consider getting rid of the space hogging jewel box and replacing them with these gatefold sleeves. These clear 4mil thick archival polyethylene sleeves hold both the front cover and back graphics to create an LP-like gatefold. They take up 75% less space than the jewel box. The spine even shows, much like an LP. Your CD collection can still be stored vertically on standard CD shelves or racks, as well as in drawer systems. Fits anywhere you put standard jewel cases. Over one million sleeves sold since 1999!

CD Sleeve Sleeve vs Jewel Box Sleeves
Holds front and back graphics to form a gatefold with spine. Just like a mini-LP! Compare 20 CD's side by side. The sleeves take up much less space. CD slides between back graphics and the sleeve for ultimate protection.

Though not required, paper liner sleeves are available. Accommodates up to 4 cd sets by stacking two on each side (using paper sleeves for protection). AVAILABLE HERE.

Holds the booklet & a CD on one side;
tray card with CD in the other side.  Fold in half.
5-1/8 x 10 5/8 4mil POLY

I have a lot of CDs, probably more than ten thousand of them. To some, this may sound like a windfall, but it gets to be a bit of a problem after a while. When I moved from Brooklyn to the big city a few years ago and faced a drastic reduction of space, I decided to consign large numbers of the little silver wonders to a storage facility.

A couple of years ago, I found the solution. It has almost literally saved my life, and I'd like to spread the word to any other suffering souls. It is a plastic CD sleeve put out by Jazz Loft. I'm sure other companies put out similar products, but my loyalty is to Jazz Loft. It takes up about one-tenth the space of a jewel case. I've been able to squirrel away a thousand or more new CDs without needing an inch of extra space.

- Alex Ross, Music Critic for New Yorker Magazine

    Directions for use:
  1. Open the sleeve with the center opening facing up and, if discernable, the shorter side to the right.
  2. Slide the CD tray card, with the type facing away from you and its right side edge folded on the perforation, into the right side of the sleeve. Tuck any remainder under the left side of the sleeve opening.
  3. Slide the CD booklet into the left side of the sleeve, with its cover facing away from you.
  4. Slide the CD into the right side of the sleeve so it's on the inside of the traycard.
  5. Close the sleeve by folding it along the tray card's other perforated edge.
  6. You should have a symmetrically folded sleeve that shows the booklet in front (bracketed by the spines) and the tray card in back.

Brilliant solution, the best I've found - just wish you had a UK distributor so I could afford more. Re empty jewel cases, I advertised on freecycle and a local music making charity was delighted to take them

Perfect design. Allows you to save a load of space, keep your artwork and flick through your discs with ease. A great storage solution.

I cannot believe how much space I have saved so far. In fact I am looking to do the same thing with my DVDs. The only question now, is how many - if any - of the empty jewel cases to save.

I ordered 200 to try them out. Great product. Now I just need another 800 or so to finish up. These are great.

Like most people, I have been ripping my couple thousand CDs to my computer, scanning the booklets in as pdf files, and playing the files on my computer. When I bought an outboard DAC to interface between my computer and stereo system, the sound quality of files played on my computer through the DAC sound better than the CDs through my CD player. Now my goal is to convert and play all my music through the computer. I have been storing CDs in binders for over a decade with never a problem. But when I stored DVDs in binders they got scratched up pretty quickly. So when I started ripping my collection of high definition audio discs (audio DVDs & SACDs), I wanted a way to safely store away the discs and booklets in a compact form for long term storage. Enter Jazzloft and Tyvek. The Jazzloft sleeves are perfect for storing the booklet, tray card and two discs. But what a surprise I found is that the Jazzloft sleeves are just big enough to but the disc into Tyvek CD sleeves, and put those into the Jazzloft sleeves. I am convinced that Tyvek CD sleeves are the best way to protect CDs and DVDs for the long term and combined with Jazzloft sleeves I have the best of both worlds.

I started with 400 sleeves (not nearly enough for my collection, but enough to field-test the space-clearing possibilities) and put them all together in one weekend. I am a person who gets squinchy about dismantling the package for anything (even CDs in ugly, scuffy jewel cases), so it really did take some psyching up to do this. To those of you who do worry about that kind of thing, I can tell you that the results are stupendous. Sure, if you want to sell any of your CDs in the future, you'll probably have to either store or re-acquire jewel cases for them, but this is a good solution for discs that you know are staying in the collection permanently. I just ordered 500 more!

For those of us collectors out there, this feels like the only viable way to manage a large collection! I have 5,000+ CDs and my house was becoming one giant stack of CDs. These thin sleeves solve the problem, because they take up very little space, while still allowing you to keep all components of the original CD (front and back covers with booklet, plus the CD itself) Highly recommended!

I agree with all the comments posted. The only downside is that, with all that space freed up, I'll be buying yet more CDs.
