Veteran bassist Colley makes his debut as a leader for SteepleChase after having played many dates for the label backing up Harold Danko, Dave Stryker and Steve Slagle - among others. Of late, Colley has been an important cog in guitarist Jim Hall's trio and the Lan Xang co-operative quartet as well as fronting his own trio on many dates.
