| Marc Jundt studied at the Swiss-Jazz-School in Bern, Switzerland. After having achieved his degree he went to West Africa (Ghana) to study African traditional music. During that period he became a member of the renowned Blay Ambolley group.
In 1987, Marc formed his KALABULE Band as it is known today from concerts, radio and LPs.
With this band and his own compositions, Marc won the First National Jazz contest in 1987, following a very successful concert at the Lugano Jazz Festival, as the supporting band for the Wayne Shorter Band, broadcast live on radio and TV.
As a solo drummer and percussionist, Marc has played concerts and clinics all over Europe, USA and Africa. |
