| For the last six years, Joane Hétu, formerly of Justine and countless other Montréal-based groups, has been directing the Castor et compagnie ensemble, a group devoted to exploring vocal musical forms. They are now offering us their second album titled “Mets ta langue.” (litterally, “Put your tongue”)
What to expect: erotic songs, love songs, french songs, spoken songs, uncool, intelligent, touching songs, tumultuous and lively; improvisations to sing along to… A warm repertoire of honeylike sound, with bite, sweat, noise and poetry.
A vocal tutti celebrating love, eroticism and life. |
