| This CD includes Chet Baker’s superlative “Chateauvallon Concert”, recorded live in France in a quartet setting. In addition to a strong supporting cast, the performance features two vocal numbers which showcase Chet’s gift at scat-singing. The bonus track features Baker in a pianoless quartet with alto-saxophonist Bob Mover, bassist Larry Ridley and drummer David Lee, in Nice, France, July 24, 1975, performing the trumpeter’s original composition, “Mister B.” |
