| This profile of revolutionary vibraphonist Lionel Hampton takes viewers back through his amazingly successful 73-year career. Historic film footage of Hampton playing with a series of jazz heroes (including Betty Carter, Teddy Wilson, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, and Milt Buckner) explore the huge role that Hampton played in incorporating the vibraphone into jazz music.
