A quartet of some of the best jazz musicians performing today, this ensemble not only performs eight stellar tracks, but they offer an analysis of each of their performances as well. In between numbers, each member of the band steps forward to discuss their approach to their own instrument, to composing, and to playing with other musicians. Each musician contributes two compositions to this performance, so their analysis refers directly to their own style of composing and playing.
