The members of Tango Orkestret have tumbled together into a pot of strong, hot Argentine tango, the same pot that Astor Piazzolla used as a bathtub long before they had grown out of their diapers. It's no surprise then that Piazzolla should be the composer of eight of the nine tunes on their new CD - "1999" - while the orchestra itself throws a fiery flavour, a sentimental touch, and peppery improvisations into the brew.
