The CD is an excellent collection of well performed works, representative of a period spanning serialism and sound composition. The compositions include 'Serenata I' (1957), for flute and 14 instruments, 'Sequenza IV' (1964 / 1993), for piano; 'O King' (1968), for voice and five instruments; 'Sequenza IXa' (1980), for clarinet; and 'Linea' (1973), for two pianos, vibraphone and marimba. |
