| This fascinating project is the combined work of Sao Paulo, Brazil artists Rob Mazurek (Mandarin Movie, Isotope 217, Chicago Underground, Exploding Star Orchestra) on cornet/electronics and Mauricio Takara (Hurtmold, M. Takara) on percussion/electronics. The pair incorporate ideas from electronica, dub, free samba, rock, jazz and maracatu into a heavily improvised set of avant jazz soundtracks. |
