| "Sketches From The Other Side, For A.I" is a combination of free jazz and written compositions which intertwine between each other with a chamber ensemble of trio of clarinet, trumpet and saxophone. This instrumentation has the quality of a brooding conjugating thick soup. The Herb Robertson's Space Cadets features amazing multifaceted trumpeter Herb Robertson, iconoclastic Frank Gratkowski on clarinets and alto and the "smooth man" Julien Petit on tenor. ...Herb Robertson never ceases to amaze me on whatever trumpet or disc he is playing on. Frank Gratkowski is another wonderful musician who seems to keep quite bust playing with numerous bands with Michiel Braam, Gerry Hemingway, Achim Kaufman, Simon Nabatov and Michael Moore. This is Herb's new label, hooray for Herb Robertson!
