| The Tivolis Big Band has existed since 1875! In the past 50 years its regular venue has been The Harmony Pavilion at Tivoli’s Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark. This CD was recorded live at Tivoli in September 2005.
The 18 piece band is led by Peder Kragerup and Neils Jorgen Steen (who also leads The Monday Night Big Band. 14 classic big band arrangements from Europe’s primer Big Band. Excellent recording quality and packaging. |
