| Michael Fahres, who studied composition with Louis Andriessen and Ton de Leeuw, is an award-winning composer of electro-acoustic soundscapes as well as a radio & TV producer and director & programmer for various international music events. Features performance by popular jazz/new music trumpeter/composer Jon hassell. Each of the compositions builds on source recordings from around the world—Lake Sevan (Armenia), El Hierro (Canary Islands), and Coimbra (Portugal). Title track produced and mixed by Michael hoenig, a former member of the infl uential group Tangerine dream and an Emmy-winning fi lm and TV composer. Eight-page full-color booklet combines photos with interesting notes about the three geographical sites from which the works draw their source sounds.
