This is Rasmussens first outing on SteepleChase. He has previously recorded for Fresh Sound and has performed with George Garzone, Paul Bley among others. In 1995 he was a featured soloist with The Spokane Symphany Orchestra conducted by Gunther Schuller as part of The Schweitzer Music Festival. The music on this CD, recorded in September 2006 features compositions by Konitz, Tristano, Marsh as well as originals from Rasmussen and Radley.
