Ross Hammond is a guitarist from Sacramento CA. On this release he teams with his major musical influences to produce "The Teakayo Mission." The record, which Hammond describes as "every musical dream I've had come true," includes bassist Lisa Mezzacappa, drummer Scott Amendola, David Boyce (saxophone) and percussionist Joaquin McPeek.

The album can best be described as a happy medium between composition and total freedom. There are some moments of melody and structure and others of chaos and disorder. However there is no sound on this recording that is without purpose. Ross Hammond's Teakayo Mission was recorded in Oakland, CA at Guerilla Recording in December of 2006.

Ross Hammond (guitar); David Boyce (saxophone, electronics); Lisa Mezzacappa (bass); Scott Amendola (drums, electronics); Joaquin McPeek (percussion)
