Dizzy's enormous charisma, both musically and personally are evident on these two outstanding perfomrances, presented here for the first time ever on DVD. Both shows were recorded in London. The first one presents Diz fronting his own quintet in 1965, which included such important musicians as James Moody and Kenny Barron. The second was filmed in 1966 (most recent research proves the concert was recorded during this year, but some sources date it to March 1969), and features Dizzy leading an all-star cast that included Clark Terry, Zoot Sims, Teddy Wilson, Bob Cranshaw, Louis Bellson and Moody, who worked with Gillespie's formations for many years. The program on both shows is full of Dizzy's classic compositions, including two versions (one on each show) of the celebrated "Tin Tin Deo".

DVD - Zone 0 - Compatible with All DVD players - All Regions - 60:32 min.
