If You are looking for a super commercial recording by one of the major labels latest over hyped, flavor of the month artists then this is not the recording for you.If you like your music pure, spontanous, and from the hart, then this is a recording that you must have. It is a timeless historical document. There was no time to rehurse,no sheet music.Robert begins by saying to the other band members"Hi,my name is Robert Stewart",he puts his horn in his mouth and all hell breaks loose.Recorded live at the Billy Higgin's workshop, also known as The World Stage. At the time of this recording the World Stage had to be considered the most important jazz venue on planet earth.Located in Los Angeles in the hart of the African American community, this humble venue became the favorite hangout for all of major jazz artists from around the world and a secound home for Robert Stewart.Listen closely and you will hear what a real jazz audience sounds like. They are as much apart of the recording as the muscians. It was the perfect inviorment for the young tenor giant from the Bay Area. All the planets were in line on this one night during this special time at this special place.

The Movement is THE FINAL recording of the most recorded drummer in Jazz history; The legendary BILLY HIGGINS. This recording is a dedication and salutation to his everlasting STRENGTH, HONOR, NOBILITY, and to the completion of his mission.
