This concert was taped at the Berlin Philharonie during 1969 Berlin Jazz Festival. The only obscure material is the early Ellington piece "Black Butterfly" but the performance is excellent. Tracks 11-15 come from a 1958 Amsterdam performance which has poor visual quality but sounds fine. 75 min. Color/B&W.
