Buenos Aires born, Guillermo Klein became interested in music from an early age and started composing from the age of eleven and at fifteen, was already writing music for his school plays. Composition came naturally and whilst at Berklee, he began writing for Latin bands but focused mainly on his studies and the creation of his eclectic, international seventeen piece orchestra - Big Van recorded here.
The band's profile grew and in '95, they played every Sunday at Small's Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, New York. Hearing the band is an uplifting experience. |
