The third in a series of boxed sets. This one recorded from October 27, 1983 - November 1, 1983. Unlike the first two in the series, this set consists of factory replicated CDs. 6 hours of extremely high-quality recordings.
In late 1983, Sun Ra amazingly did simultaneous European tours with both the Arkestra and this super group. The results are not disappointing!
Extremely limited edition. |
ARTISTS Sun Ra (piano, keyboards, vocals); Lester Bowie (trumpet); Don Cherry (trumpet, vocals); Marshll Allen (alto sax, flute, oboe); John Gilmore (tenor sax, vocals); Archie Shepp (tenor and soprano sax, vocals); Richard Davis (bass); Famoudou Don Moye (drums, percussion); Philly Joe Jones (drums) |
