This was Ray Barretto's first release for Fania records,the main label for salsa in the 70's. This one is newly remastered with full liner notes. A great mix of salsa and boogaloo with excellant arrangements and top notch playing by the band. Maestro Barretto lays down the foundation for how salsa would develop in the late 60's and early 70's. The rest as they say is history! A must have for salsa/latin jazz fans.
