24bit remastered.  Recorded on Eric Dolphy’s first visit to Europe, this album features the strongest pieces from his previous records and playing by some of Scandinavia’s best, plus US expatriates Idrees Sulieman and Jimmy Woode. Most fascinating are Dolphy’s bass clarinet features in the slow blues “Serene” and the unaccompanied Billie Holiday tribute “God Bless the Child.”
