Casino Royale - Original Sountrack (200g LP)

| One of the most debated over and sought after audiophile titles, Casino Royale has graced many "Top Ten" lists for decades. This quirky soundtrack, to the equally zany James Bond spoof, features music and arrangements by the prolific and very hip Burt Bacharach. The highlight of the set is a breathy rendition of The Look of Love, by the late Dusty Springfield. The main theme and supporting incidental music are by Herb Alpert and his Tijuana Brass. The sound captured by the young engineer (but soon-to-be Super Producer, Phil Ramone) is still stunning, more than 30 years later. |
