Originally released in 1966, Roger The Engineer was the only album from the The Yardbirds to feature all original material. Although the record was officially titled Yardbirds, it has since been referred to as Roger the Engineer, stemming from the cover drawing of audio engineer Roger Cameron by band member Chris Dreja.
Marking the addition of Jeff Beck, the album finds the
group expanding upon their signature blues-rock format and experimenting
with psychedelia and the avant-garde. Music On Vinyl is now re-releasing this classic album in its original mono version on 180g audiophile vinyl.
