The 2nd full length release from the East Coast free form music collective. This release features a seventeen piece ensemble with a full arsenal of instruments. Band cofounder Daniel Carter builds bridges of song between layers middle eastern drones and classic bop often flying quickly into free blasts of multi dimensional bliss. The group offers the listener three expansive movements of pure devotional music. The Sun Ra influence is hard to ignore considering Arkestra illuminists Alzo and Ruth Wright make a strong appearance on the track "Headless Garuda" . With the experience of players like The Wrights, Carter, and guitarist Dave Ross((Ras Moshe Transendece Quartet) mixed with the fresh influences of the younger players like Dylan Ryan (Icy Demons) ,Tim Kieper( Beat the Donkey, Vieux Farka Toure), Shayna Dulberger ( Young Equestrians) and Robert Ryan (Lord Sterling, American Cloud Songs) the band lets the songs take them in many directions, building and evolving into a pure musical offerings. A deep range invites many types of listener to the altar from" Big Fun" era Miles Davis to Sonic Youth , Akron Family to Albert Ayler, Vedic chanting to Eastern European styled folk singing brought to you by Baltimore's one and only Psychedelic acapella dance troupe The Lexi Mt. Boys.
