This brand-new reissue replaces EJW WEB 3037. Joe Henderson was Blue Note’s most-requested tenor sideman during the ’60s. He played on several of the label’s landmark albums, including Horace Silver’s Song for My Father, Lee Morgan’s The Sidewinder, and McCoy Tyner’s The Real McCoy. Barcelona was recorded during the late 1970s in a trio setting.
