The 60's were a turbulent time in America as its youth looked to their musical heroes for many of its questions. The Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, Jack Casady, Jorma Kaukonen, Marty Balin, etc. provided those answers with heavy guitars, powerful vocals and time honored classic sixties anthems like "Somebody To Love," "White Rabbit" and "Volunteers." This 1970 release contains 15 hits, mastered from the original RCA tapes by Joe Reagoso and Kevin Gray.
