and stimulating progression from his much-acclaimed trio project.
Featuring outstanding musicians from the US and UK, playing in
exclusively acoustic mode, Art of Five presents what Cobham describes
as “another musical aspect of jazz that we, as aficionados, are frequently
exposed to. I sought to provide an example, through the music and the
approach of the group performing it, of how these musical concepts run
parallel to what we do as people in our everyday lives.”
