| November 28, 1989. 140 gram LP. Yellow vinyl with blue label in PVC sleeve with blue lettering. Limited edition of 500 copies. "Recorded live in Albuquerque in 1989 while Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band were on tour for their new album, In Step. During this tour, Vaughan, who had just been through rehab, was out to prove to his fans that he was back with a vengeance, and this live album captures that newfound fury perhaps better than any other recording. That night Stevie mostly played songs from In Step, including self-penned tunes like 'Tightrope' and 'Wall Of Denial', which spoke about his addiction, as well as classic blues songs like Willie Dixon's 'Let Me Love You Baby' and Buddy Guy's 'Leave My Little Girl Alone'. Jeff Beck also makes a guest appearance here!" |
