Finally! Barefoot Records proudly announces the debut album from Jesper Zeuthen’s new extended group “PLUS”.
The release concert will be held on Thursday, September 20th, at Copenhagen Jazzhouse. Jesper Zeuthen PLUS is the first CD from Danish saxophone player Jesper Zeuthen’s new group PLUS. PLUS is an expansion of Zeuthen’s hard working trio and presents new colours of his compositions, allowing each player plenty of freedom to shape the music.
Recorded over two days in April 2012 and consisting mostly of first takes, plus a few second takes, the music is a joyous and sonorous celebration of life and a document of Danish jazz at its most vital.
The CD is released on Barefoot Records, the Danish record label and collective for adventurous and extraordinary music.
